For readers who are not familiar with them, a quick intro on the "Joys of Motherhood" characters:

Lindsay, Cindy, Jill, Claire, Denise, Jacobi, Martha - fairly obvious, isn't it? :)

Ashley - L/C eldest daughter; Lindsay's biological daughter, so has all the typical Boxer traits, including brown hair, left handed… Is 16 years old, unless stated otherwise in specific fics.

Lily - L/C youngest daughter; Cindy's biological daughter, redhead, talks as much as her mother, and can't lie to save her life (LOL)… is 14 years old, unless stated otherwise in specific fics.

Kayla Hamilton - Lindsay's partner, since Jacobi is Homicide Lieutenant in the series.

Officer Montoya - female police officer, who has had several small appearances in various fics.

Tyler - Jill and Denise's son, introduced in "Babysitting Aunt Jill"… Cute little baby, except in "The Prodigal Daughter Returns" and it's sequel "Family Reunion" (two future fics) where he is a teenager.

Samantha "Sam" Parker - Introduced in "Chaos and Squirrels Abound", and Ashley's girlfriend as of "Girlfriend", "Not-yet-but-soon-to-be Girlfriend" ,"Football and Bruises"…

Kate - Ashley's best friend, is on the basketball team with her ("Not-yet-but-soon-to-be Girlfriend"). Has several appearances in other fics…

Santiago - Ashley's best friend, first introduced in "Coming Out". Is Hispanic and is on the track team.

Steven Meyers - Ashley's high school 'nemesis' (as Lily dubs him). First introduced in "Not-yet-but-soon-to-be Girlfriend" and appears once again in "Coming Out".



Dr. Rachel Howard - First appearance in "Shot". Is Lily's co-worker and best friend; Ashley's love interest - eventually becomes her wife.

Timothy "T.J." Jackson - Lily's husband, introduced in "Doctor's Appointments - Lily"

 I am finally done with my master's thesis. It has been signed, sealed and delivered and is now in the hands of two competent (I hope!) people that will mark it and provide feedback. Presentation is also done and I am officially on HOLIDAYS!! So happy! *does little happy dance that has the muse shaking her head*

Anyways, for the two people who commented on my last post (you know who you are), I will say you were close to "deciphering" (because that is the only appropriate word for it) my work; I wrote about gamma-ray flares (similar to solar flares) occurring in a nebula, the Crab nebula to be specific. So congrats, you may now request a fic for one of my universes (or something you'd like to see in a fic) and I will endeavour to write it to the best of my abilities. :D

And now that I am free I will continue with my fics. In fact, I will be posting a small one shortly. It is something cute and fluffy to get me back in the game!

Okay, so my social life is currently non-existent.

I have a masters to finish writing in the next two weeks, then send two copies by snail mail back to London (seriously, snail mail?!) and then have to do a presentation about a week after that on the 24th. I predict a lot of panicking and complaining and ranting in the next three weeks, along with a lot of cake eating...

For whoever's wondering about the topic of my thesis... "Variable gamma-ray emission from pulsar wind nebulae" (I can just about imagine the WTF?? faces being sent my way... :D). If somebody manages to figure out what it is and tell me, I might just write a fic for you!

And speaking of fic, like I mentioned in my last post, no writing until next month. And I will get to answering your comments and the odd message in my inbox as soon as my work is all done and shipped off.

I think that was all I wanted to say... Back to work for me...
